From the seaport town of Helmutsport comes a man raised to live life to the fullest and to enjoy each day as though it was his last.   His mother taught him to sing as well as how to care and his father, a local fisherman, taught him to respect those that deserved it and to help the ones who didn't.  At age 12, due to his father's failing health, Kale was sent to Ar to learn the ways of a warrior, for his father wished more for his son than the life of a simple fisherman.  Once he became of age he served in the Arian army honing his skills.  After a few years, he accepted a position in the Harfax guard.  Several years later, wanderlust and the promise of a better life took Kale to Thentis, now his house and the friends he proudly calls family have brought him to Jorts Ferry.
One cannot say that this man is without a heart, for his Homestone, his friends and his honor are that which mean the most to him.  Seldom is he angered or in a unpleasant mood.

Standing nearly six and a half feet tall, weighing almost 55 stone his presence at times is overpowering to those around him. Jet black hair falling to his waist in a four braid is a weapon that few even take the time to consider.  Don't be fooled, you might be surprised to know that in that braid lies small bits of metal and larl teeth.  Often to throw an adversary off guard he has been heard to say, "Ever been bitten by a larl?", then with a lashing of hair,  his enemy shrieks as  their blood flows and the fight is back to his advantage.

This Gorean man's lust for life is well demonstrated by his love of drink, wagering, and a good tavern brawl whether it be with friend or foe.  His sword brothers Kain Shadowhawk and Kazar Tuel often find themselves at the opposite end of said brawl.  More than once has his salary been spent to replace broken tavern tables, most of which were destroyed by Kale's own body thrown into them.

Often he is heard reprimanding both mouthy Free Women for their unladylike behavior, and slaves for lack of respect of the Free.  "Mind your tongue Woman", is issued freely as a warning to the Free.  As for romance, he has not yet found a lady to catch his eye and

steal his heart.
